TrelloFix is a browser extension that allows users to capture visual feedback (such as screenshots and annotations) from websites and generate structured, Trello-ready feedback using a license-based activation system.
The extension operates only when explicitly triggered by the user.
2. Information We Collect
The TrelloFix Chrome Extension does not collect personal or sensitive user data by default.
The extension processes limited information only when the user actively uses it, including:
- The URL of the currently active browser tab
- Page content required to capture screenshots or visual feedback
- User-created annotations, notes, or markings
- License activation status and user role (admin or invited member)
No data is collected automatically in the background.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
The TrelloFix Chrome Extension does not:
- Track browsing history
- Monitor tabs without user interaction
- Collect cookies
- Collect passwords or login credentials
- Require Trello account login or OAuth authorization
- Perform analytics tracking inside the extension
- Collect payment or billing information
4. License Validation & Remote Configuration
To enable functionality, the extension may validate a license key against a secure TrelloFix server.
This process is used solely to:
- Confirm license validity
- Enable or disable features
- Enforce domain-based usage
No personal user data is sold, shared, or used for advertising.
Remote resources are controlled and maintained exclusively by TrelloFix and are not user-generated.
5. Data Storage
- License status, user role, and preferences are stored locally using Chrome’s storage API.
- Screenshot data and annotations are created only by the user and remain under the user’s control.
We do not retain browsing data or screenshots on our servers unless explicitly required for license validation.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.
Information may be shared only:
- When technically required to validate a license
- If required by law or legal process
No data is shared with advertisers or marketing platforms.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect extension functionality and license validation processes.
However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
8. Children’s Privacy
TrelloFix is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
